We have 27 rooms all on our main floor with comfortable features – patio doors, wheel chair accessible washrooms and large closet space – all tastefully decorated. We encourage you to bring your own personal treasures and furniture to decorate and arrange your room to your taste.

Our Staff

Our staff are committed to making our home the warm and loving home that it is. They help create the family like setting that we have. The entire staff goes above and beyond to meet the needs of everyone. You will always be greeted with a friendly smile!

Our History

The first Serenity was opened in Hanover, Ontario. The concept and affordability was very well received and it led to a full house within the year. There continues to be a growing need for those who do not need “institutional care”, but feel more comfortable in a “family like” environment. This location opened in 2000, and has a community reputation for its “feel like home setting”. Serenity is also very well recognized for its kind, compassionate and accommodating staff.

Our Location

We are located in peaceful Parry Sound – the world-renowned jewel of the 30,000 Islands on Georgian Bay. Parry Sound is rich in arts, culture and heritage. The Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts and the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame are home to the international summer music festival, the Festival of the Sound. The Hall of Fame pays tribute to home-town hockey hero, Bobby Orr. The waterfront is a people-gathering place, offering attractions, shopping, restaurants and parks, beaches, natural vistas, and trails for your enjoyment. There is something magical about watching a sunset over the glistening clear waters of the Bay, or walking out onto the winter ice, drilling that hole and catching a fresh lake trout.
